Relationship Between Serum microRNA-372-3p and Glucose Transporter 4 Levels and Insulin Resistance in Gestational Diabetes Mellitus

Objective: To observe the changes in insulin resistance patients with gestational diabetes mellitus (GDM) based on detection of serum microRNA-372-3p and glucose transporter protein 4 (GLUT4) levels. Methods: We conducted a retrospective cohort study 42 who were diagnosed GDM hospitalized our hospital during period from January 2017 to December 2021 another had normal pregnancy same by collecting their clinical data. analyzed microRNA expression profiles miR-372-3p levels relationship between resistance. Results: The relative group was significantly higher than that control group, but GLUT level lower (P < 0.05). Compared fasting blood (FBG), (FINS), 2-hour postprandial (2h-BG), total cholesterol (TC), triglyceride (TG), homeostatic model assessment for (HOMA-IR) index homeostasis ?-cell function (HOMA-?) independently positively correlated HOMA-IR, while GLUT4 negatively HOMA-IR Conclusion: Glycosylated hemoglobin test early stages (12–13 weeks gestation) is important ensure health pregnant women fetuses. screening intervention elevated act as guideline treatment GDM. Patients related complications such hyperinsulinemia hypoglycemia should be given priority.
